Rayfields Accessibility Consultancy is based in Southend on Sea Essex bringing together the complementary knowledge and experience of accessibility specialist Adrian Rayfield and Web developer Hazel Rayfield.
Our aim is to help businesses and organisations make web sites that are accessible to all. We do this by testing and auditing current web sites, advising and offering guidance. We also advise in the planning stage of web development, providing guidance on compliance techniques and requirements before a site is built, or we can build the site for you.
Adrian Rayfield CertIT&Comp(Open)
Adrian specialises in accessibility, his knowledge and experience of Web standard requirements and compliance guidelines, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 1.0 guidelines, is extensive, having been involved in testing over 200 Web sites.
A web developer for many years Adrian was the founder and manager of Independent-Testers.org (now ceased), an online organisation that tested Web sites via a panel of independent testers across the globe. Adrian has advised many types of business and organisations on the accessibility, compliance and usability of their Web sites, ranging from small self developers to large companies and government organisations.
Adrian has published several articles on accessibility issues, which have been published online in various places. Some of these articles and tutorials now appear on this site and can be accessed via our articles index page.

Hazel is a Web developer and designer, and has been developing commercial web sites since 1998. Hazel believes that all Web sites should be open to everyone online regardless of circumstance and that well structured and professionally presented Web sites should also be accessible Web sites.
