The Calculators

We have developed the following calculators for your convenience. We hope you find them both useful, fast and easy to use.

All of the calculators use metric units, however imperial units can be converted from imperial to metric units on each calculator if required.

The wallpaper calculator is a metric wallpaper calculator that aids you in measuring for wallpaper in 3 simple steps, simply fill in the form and hit the calculate button and your results of how many rolls of wallpaper you require is returned.

You can calculate an entire room or just one wall if you are doing a feature wall.

Paint coverage calculator

The paint calculator is also a metric calculator and can be used to work out how many litres of paint you need to paint a given surface, such as a single feature wall, an entire room or just some trim such as skirting boards.

As with the other calculators this paint coverage calculator is simple and quick to use, you can even pick how many coats you will be doing! Refer the the manufactures instructions to help decide on the number of coats required.

You will need to know how many m² a litre of the paint you intend to use goes, this can be found either on the tin of paint or via the manufactures or suppliers website. Simply enter all the figures and hit the calculate button.

Tile calculator

The tile calculator enables you to work out how many tiles you need to tile a given surface, such as a single wall, a complete room or even a splashback.

As with the other calculators I have done the tile calculator is simple and quick to use, just 3 simple steps. You can even choose a percentage to add for wastage and breakages!

You will need to know the tile size you intend to use, these can be any size you like, also you need to know the size of area in metres to be tiled. Simply enter all the figures into the calculator and hit the calculate button.
